What should I do if my computer recognizes my mp3 player as a digital camera? I have a philips mp3 player and I need windows media player to recognize it as an mp3 player

try reinstalling your soft ware that came with your mp3 player
and make sure your PC doesn't think it's your camera. or go to there web site and check to see if you have the right cd for it.

Delete all files from drive C relating to your mp3 player and re-install with the disc that came with the camera.

reload the drivers on the cd that came with it or go to the website and get the drivers for your particular mp3 player
