There's nothing wrong with you! Who said there was? Don't listen to them!
You sound like you are in good physical shape to me.
Don't do anything drastic like trying to diet as a teen. You will only mess up your metabolism and set yourself up for being VERY FAT as an adult. Please don't do this! This is how 99.99% of all adult women over 300 lbs. started out, by dieting as a teen!
Just pay attention to what you eat, and keep up your excellent phsyical activity and you will be fine!!! Please, please believe me!

There isn't anything wrong with you. You are a kid, it's possible you have a lot of growing left and that 158 will distribute over your frame as you grow. Or it's possible it is baby fat that will disappear as you get older, especially since you are so active and eat healthy. Good for you!
Even if you never lose any weight or get any taller, you're still perfect the way you are. It took me a long time to realize that even though I was a lot bigger than the girls around me, I was still attractive. At your age boys probably don't see past your outer appearance (they don't mature as quickly as girls), but you will find as you get older and your inner confidence grows, you won't have any trouble attracting young men.
I wouldn't go on a diet or anything, just keep eating healthy, drinking lots of water and exercising. Also, tell yourself every day that you look good, that you are happy with who you are. Don't let some 89 pound girl tell you that you're fat, she's just insecure because she's so skinny and she's taking it out on you. Loving yourself is a lot better than starving yourself so others will accept you, I can guarantee it.

Is this ? being sparked by something in particular? Did someone say something to you? Like everyone else is saying, muscle weighs more than fat and it sounds like you are one heck of an athlete. I couldnt begin to run the mile that fast, even at your age! I was one of those skinny kids though, no muscle.
Dieting is not something to think about for you, but watching your sweets intake and perhaps your carb intake could be a good idea. Perhaps write down everything you eat in a week, a daily log of your food, just to see that you are eating healthy. If you are a snacker, you could try cutting that down. Also drink lots of water. ALWAYS have breakfast, I know people who have lost weight just by doing that.
But it certainly doesnt sound like you are fat or that there is anything wrong with you.

Okay hun, you are not. Just for fun, so that I could give you a better answer I calculated you BMI. It is 24.7. THAT IS NORMAL. It is at the higher end of the scale, but you are athletic, so you have alot of MUSCLE!!! Which weighs more than FAT!!! So I would say, you are NO WHERE NEAR OVERWEIGHT!!! There is nothing wrong with you. It seems you look after yourself alot better than some teens do.... Keep up the Active Life Style!!! Good Job!!!

no you are not fat your weight is that weight because of your height and if you are on the swim team and can run a mile in 6 minutes then that is great and you are 5'7 and 13 you are a little tall for your age but that is ok because I am 5'6 and I am younger than you (11 going on 12 in two weeks)

Muscle weighs more than fat, so you can weigh different than those stupid generic weight charts will tell you that you should weigh for your height.
Frankly, I think you're perfectly healthy. Stay active, and keep eating those fruits and veggies. And don't pay attention to those stupid weight charts. As long as you feel healthy, you ARE healthy.

dude don't stress about this stuff, 158 lbs is not that big plus you can turn all of that into muscle since you are into fitness, but just trust me there are bigger things to think about then this, accept yourself for who you are and be who you are because that is what we have, stay fit eat healthy and drink a lot of water and not soda or other stuff just mostly water

You're fine! Preasure is mostly the reason that people worry about it so much. But if you're doing things you like and you stay active its not a problem! Just try to think of things you like and problems should just slip your mind slowly.

It kind of depends on your height, but you sound very athletic (muscle weighs more than FAT) so you are probably just right!
Trust me, I wasted so much time in high school thinking I was FAT...now I really am FAT and I'm kicking myself for wasting time as a teenager beating myself up! Please don't repeat my mistakes!
