My husband and I just had the worst dining experience of our lives.
The hostess was surly, the waitress (when we actually got one) said she'd bring water and condiments and never did, we had to get up and ask for a glass from the bartender. His beer arrived, but I didn't get my Bloody Mary until AFTER I was done eating.
The whole time we heard the chefs crabbing at the waitresses, the head waitress crabbing at everyone, and the place wasn't packed!

So what's your most memorable worst dining experience.

We had an hour to wait for a pair of eyeglasses, so we went to a nearby pizza place that mostly does carryout. There were like three booth tables there, and we were the only people dining in.. We ordered a large pizza, and sat down to wait for it. Half-hour later, we saw no signs of it. We were like 6 feet away from the action here. So- to make a long story short- we figured out finally that they hadn't even started making our pizza, and if we waited for them to finish it, we would get to the eyeglass store after it closed. So we walked out and didn't get it at all. The "manager" wasn't even very apologetic. He acted like we should be totally understanding that we sat there all that time, 6 feet away from him, and didn't get any food in 40 minutes, while they kept carrying pizzas out the back door to take to peoples' homes. Jeeez.

I've had a lot since we eat out often, but this past Friday we went to a well known name restaurant and sat for 12 minutes (We never even got greeted and asked what we wanted to drink) before I had to get up and ask where was our server. The whole evening we were waited on by the manager because the server never stopped at out table.

Once a long time ago now, we were at another restaurant and I found a packing staple in my salad, the worse part was I found it after I took a bite into the salad.

I could go on and on but you get the point...

I went on a double date once and we went into Steak n Shake because they were open late and it was like midnight and we had just come from this late show at the movie and we were laughing and as soon as we got in the building we stopped laughing and the waitress / hostess told us it was late and we needed to shut our traps. Then when my friend asked if they served breakfast all day she said no what does this look like denny's and my friend said denny's sounds pretty good she told us then maybe we should go eat with the senior citzens at denny's I know we were young and sometimes that puts people on the defensive because we were only like 18 at the time. But she was just rude the whole time so I picked up my dates tip that he left on the table and put it in his pocket and told him he wasn't tipping her because she was a witch lol

haven't really had a bad one but the incident that comes to mind was when my bf and I were at this little homestyle hole in the wall, you know the kind of place I"m talking about. When the waittress came to take our order I noticed she had a big booger hanging out of her nose. When she came back next with the food, the booger was gone and I couldn't help but wonder where it had ended up!!!!!

I was at a restaurant in LA with my family and we were waiting forever to be seated and we ended up having to seat ourselves. Everytime we needed something, the waiters would walk pass us acting like they didn't see us. Finally, when we asked for water, the waiter came about 45 minutes later, when we were already done eating. My mom and I were looking at our glasses of water and we saw a whole bunch of dust flying around. We turned to my sister and was about to ask if she had dust in her water as well, but she already drank it all since she was so othirsty. It was funny but gross at the same time. When we gt our bill, i wrote "very bad service" on the back of it and left no tip.

Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower in Paris. undesirable provider and boastful hostess and team. not properly well worth the funds. in basic terms for the yankee vacationers. do not bypass there once you're in Paris. attempt Le Cinq extremely - highway George V close to Louis Vuitton. In Penang, i admire Pepperoncino in the Golden Sands.

My worst dining experience was on Virgin Airlines coming home from England. Every meal had cheese or sour cream or creamed cheese in it and I am allergic to dairy. They told me I should have told them in advance but I never expected EVERY meal to be dairy.

Once I was eating a breaded veal sandwich in a restaraunt. After I took a few bites, a fingernail fell out of my sandwich. I about puked on the spot.
