if you just spilled it clean it up with kitty litter then use dawn dish liquid. Coke cola works well too, if the stain is set in there are cleaners that will remove it at an auto store. Try the coke first it is cheaper.

The most powerful generally available detergent is dishwasher liquid/powder. That should work with some scrubbing and given some time to soak in. However, if you're buying it specially (i.e., if you don't own a dishwasher) you might as well buy drive cleaner like the other guy suggested.

Either way, if it's really soaked into the porous brick, all you'll do is reduce the stain, not remove it altogether.

First, lay down some kitty litter to absorb any liquid that might still be there.

Sweep it up after an hour.

Pour a 2 liter bottle of Coca Cola on it (diet, so the sugar won't attract bugs) and let it sit overnight.

The phosphoric acid in the coke will break down the oil.

Wash away the next day.

Keep the kitty litter around for future oil spills.

You may think this is crazy, but seriously go over the whole driveway with oil or whatever it was stained with. Then try cleaning that way you wont have spots

You could try blasting away at it with a presure washer after scrubbing it with a degreasing agent like Gunk. But if it has soaked into the fabric of the bricks you may be as well off lifting the stained bricks and turning them over if they are plain and not "sided".
