Well when I was 14, I was a gypsy! Not too little-kid, but not all slutty! You could try being a vampiress, waitress, punk-witch! Anything halloween-like, but with a cuter twist! This year me & my friends are going as the updated Wizard of Oz characters. West Coast & East Coast Witches, Glam Glinda, Dorothy from the Hood, Pimpin' Oz, Emo Scarecrow...and some others! the best costume for this year for girls seems to be marie antionette, probably inspired by the new movie coming out. Just go to your local thrift shop and look for old victorian dresses, and then borrow your mom's old glittery jewelery, and top it off with a huge updo sprayed with white hair dye. You're set! Happy halloween!

Depends on your personality, if you want to take the easy way out just wrap your self in toilet paper!!!
Or take your time to make a good costume like a princess or phost or frankstine.

I like the fringed dress from the 20's and 30's and for the life of me cant think of the name of them and drawing a blank but those look pretty neat!

The nurse of death! Complete with a corset, garters, stockings and spiky stilettos, and a neat little bow tied in your hair to finish it off.

Maybe you could be a Graveyard/Goth fairy they're like cute but not preppy. Or a pirate, those are awesome.

it depends kinda on what you look like. i have red hair so wen i was 13 i found this adorable strawberry shortcake costume. it was really cute.
