No, the only mortal combat game that is backwards compatible with the xbox 360 is Mortal combat deception

YES. It is very true. All it has is a Kreate-A-Fatality system. One which is where you must input a different variety of buttons in order to make a somewhat unique fatality of your own. There are no signature fatalities either. Armageddon is still a very good game nonetheless. It has ALL of the characters from every game, and I have noticed that it has easier ways of earning koins! Plus, you can create your own kombatabts!

They did announce that it would be compatible for the 360 soon. Haven't tried it my-self but if anyone out there has tried to play this game for the 360 and got it to work let me know so I can buy it. :)
