How could it, when to be 100% against abortion makes no sense?

Not exactly... embryonic stem cells can be acquired by other methods than destroying an embryo. And not all, or even most, of stem cell research is done on embryonic stem cells. In fact the most promising (actually the only) results are from adult stem cells.

Only if you think the younger human beings killed for embryonic stem cell research are somehow less worthy of life than the older ones killed by abortion.

Adult stem cell research has been much more successful than embryonic stem cell research, anyway, and is free from the moral injustice of using unconsenting human beings for experimentation.

Yes, because the way they can do stem cell research now is no worse than scraping dead skin off of you. DNA research is being done in different ways. It's not form the umbilical cord or from what people think "dead fetuses" anymore.

I think people against abortion are again stem - cell research.. that's why the President vetoed it... it personal beliefs against abortion

We should be happy first for all the people who support the ban on abortion, That is one seperate issue and law that we need to get passed.
While they should also support a ban on stem cell research, if they don't, let us not destroy our base on abortion by attacking them, be happy for the support you get , where you get it.

I feel they are equally wrong to do, I`m too tired to put a handle to it right now, but I know abortion is murder.
