umm well I took the dollar store one 3 days befor my next period and it came back positive. It actually detects about 25m of hormones which is more than a lot of the more expensive ones do. but whatever makes you feel comfortable. I even used the dollar store OPK(ovulation) test and I got pregnant my first shot. Good luck

A pregnancy test is a pregnancy test. The ones at the Dollar store just won't be as fancy as the more expensive ones. Just follow the directions carefully and it's fine.

I tried the Wal-Mart brand ones a couple of times, but I always prefered EPT. If you buy the dollar one and get a negative, even though you really think you are pregnant, you might want to buy a better brand and test again. Remember home tests are most accurate when you use your first morning's urine.

Not sure, but the three tests I took in the first two months or my pregnancy came out negative, but the time I took a test at the doctor I was posotive. So There is no for sure answer on your question, they can and can not be correct. I would suggust going to your doctor or a free clinic(for unplanned pregnancy) and take a test there.

sweetie, i got one from dollar general and soon as my urine touched the tip, before the test strip was even completely covered with urine, it was positive. the first window is the window with the + or -, it was + before it even got to the window to let me know the test had completed. the thing with those tests are they normally dont use alot of dye and the positive or negative line is faint, so you're not sure if it's a positive because it's so faint. believe me, if it gives a positive, faint or not you're pregnant.

Any pregnancy test, as long as it's not expired, are just as effective as the pricey brands. Go ahead and pee away on that stick!

If it were me i wouldn't take a chance. If i were worried i would pay a few extra dollars for a better one.

if u have the time, u can get what the test's success rate is, and compare it to that of a more expensive brand.
