I'm OK on Molokai (betyween Maui and Honolulu). I thought my flat screen monitor was going to fall off its shelf, but my house sustained no damage.

On the Kona side of the Big Island, the hospital and a nursing home have been evacuated due to structural damage. The main airport on Maui seems to be damaged as well. The heavy rains on Oahu are just now letting up some, so hopefully most folks will get their power back on by the end of the day. Ours flickered for a fraction of a second. Enough to restart my computer, but not enough to affect my microwave or clock radio.

Everyone is saying there was no major structural damage anywhere and no building collapses. Just no electricity and major roads are closed.

It was this afternoon (7 something their time). One was a 6.3 and an aftershock was 5.8. No reports at this time of fatalities. Have heard of a few ceiling collapses and power out.
