Well, I too am biased about abortions and I believe that fetuses are in fact, alive. Look at the proscecution of Scott Peterson when he was convicted of Laci Peterson and her unborn child's death. It's very strange to see the double standard in the law that way. A mother can kill her unborn child but if someone else kills that fetus aside from the mother, it is murder. Sad isn't it? There are lots of hypocrites out there and is impossible to count because such hypocrisy is normal in today's society. There are alternatives to abortion, sure one can argue that that child may be spared from going through pain in life, but ultimately, who are we to judge whether or not that child will be successful despite of handicaps. There are adoption agencies where unwanted children may go to good homes.

People that support abortion usually support it for rape victims. They believe that the fetus does have a soul and they do feel. (This I believe, also.) They believe that if someone had no say in having sex, they had no say in if they wanted a child.
They think that abortion is not murder because it is killing someone who has not had any world experience and no one cares about it.
I, personally, support abortion for rape victims. I do think, however, that it could be much kinder (as in putting the baby to sleep like a pet instead of some of the methods they have now), and that, if the victim is not school-aged, they should be denied abortion and instead adopt the baby out. I think of how cruel my schoolmates would be if I was carrying a baby, even if it wasn't my choice, and how ashamed I would be to be pregnant. If I was out of high school and I had the money to carry on with the pregnancy, then I would adopt out.
No, they are not being hypocritical.

I think that you oversimplify some issues. In the first place, most pro abortion people look at the procedure as a medical necessity in cases of rape, abnormal fetuses, insanity, criminal behavior and overpopulation, as in Japan and China.
Some cynic may argue with you that it is better for the soul of the fetus to go to heaven without sins, than to be born and suffer, hunger ,poverty, diseases, depravation ,corruption, and finally hell.
When a doctor is operating on a patient and the patient dies, do you call it murder? When someone terminates a life accidentally, or to prevent the agonizing death of a terminal patient, do you call it murder? Apparently we play fast and loose with our terminology, to fit our private dogma, whatever it may be. What do you call the killing of animals for food and recreation? What do you call the soldiers you send to terminate people's lives under the rubric of enemy? Hero's or murderers?
Leave the politics of necessary ethics and morality
about abortion to the discretion of doctors.

'Would you have any idea of how many of these hypocrits (sic) there are'?
Yes, many. Those who are completely anti-abortion in public, and sneak off or have female members of their families sneak off 'somewhere' for a couple off weeks when it suits them.
What would you do if a minor female member of your family is raped and the result is an unwanted pregnancy? Or if your pregnant wife or sister is in danger of dying in childbirth?
Get real!
However, I don't condone abortion as a form of birth control.
'Abortion on demand'.
Men should take responsibility for when and where they sow their 'wild oats'.

abortion is a personal thing that i feel should not be in the hands of strangers to decide who is allowed to do it. how many anti abortionist go eat meat? people kill to eat meat and do what ever is necessary to survive personally but think it is their right to tell others wut they can do. no one has proof the fetus have souls hell you have no proof you have one either so get a life and move on let others decide about their own life's and stop try in to play government, the government thinks it is god as it is.

Being Pro-Choice does not = Being Pro-Abortion.
I know many people who are Pro-Choice, myself included, who are also not happy about abortion and would prefer it didn't happen. The point is that I am not God so I will not judge others for their decisions.
Too many young girls died when abortion was illegal, and too many unwanted babies are abused. They have souls too.

well, I don't believe in souls, but I believe in spirits. The spirit of someone never dies. If a fetus is dependent on the mother for survival than the mother has the right to choose what happens to it.

sure abortion could be considered murder . can you prove the fetus feels pain and for how long . compare this pain to a lifetime of neglect among other terrible things we shouldn't force a child to live through

What the hell is a soul besides a bottom of a shoe. Do you mean a heart? The word soul is just a fluff word the way you use it.
