What are the Differences between USA and Italy.?

For example we already know the language differences. I am writting an essay for english and I want to braianstorm a little more so that I write an awesome essay.

*It is an old country with much history. It is where Rome is you know and Rome ruled just about all of the known world. It is where the Roman Catholic church is headquartered and so is mostly Catholic today where USA is diverse in religion. The country is small and surrounded mostly by water and so you can go to the beach or mountians from anywhere you live. Remember the city on water, isn't it Venice (check the spelling my spell check is not working).*
