BA have a clear policy, which allows for garments (hijab, yarmulke, turban) to be worn, because there is no way to hide them, but asks for all jewellery, including religious symbols, to be worn discreetly. This would extend to a Star of David, an Aum, a Wiccan pentagram, and so on. The comparison made by the employee and the writers here is false. Should the employee wish to follow the Bible to the letter on clothing for women, BA would have to permit her.

Yes, the ironing is incredible! I've got a mountain of laundry that just came out of the dryer, and now I'll be up ironing all night!
The IRONY is that this woman could probably wear a pair of Nike sneakers, or an IZOD sports shirt, or carry a keychain with the Chevrolet emblem emblazoned on it, or maybe even wear a rosary. But she can't wear a crucifix!
Why is it we can promote material things but we can't display our religious beliefs in public?
Enough said. Sorry, but I have to get back to my ironing. -RKO-

Yes, crazy. BA and any other employer should either have a rule saying that their staff can wear religious clothing and/or icons or they cannot. As some religions wear there stuff where people can see it and others don't, I would think it should be that clothing and/ore icons can ne worn. You cannot have a rule for one and not for another. It's a bit disturbing actually. I'n sure Richard Branson will offer the lady a job!

I know what you mean, my ironing is completely out of control too, I mean Sunday night and I've got all the school uniforms to do not to mention hubby's shirts( poor dear ends up doing them himself) and I've long given up buying myself anything that takes a crease- I tell you ,if it doesn't hang flat straight from the machine then I just don't bother with it.

Well, take a look at Denmark someone makes fun of Islam and they freak, the best P.C. thing to do today is lets not make the Islamic people angry. I say kill them all and let Allah sort them out. All she did we where a cross maybe B.A should have a policy that says No religious articles shall be worn at all

Things like that make me so mad - I just let my wife do the ironing, so I don't have to think about it.
