sates without income tax pay less. no state supplements.
some states have no welfare so a cripple or ill of any age might die waiting for the average 2 year process for ssi. this is the reality of the leaner and meaner America.
there also isn't enough Reagan spent a lot of it ..
we need to ask congress first to give back all the republicans took out of the pot!
we have to decide who gets what by income and resources on all programs.
should you get "senior welfare" while living in a million dollar home and driving a hummer?
should a senior who is retired get better medical care medicare vs medicaid than someone who needs the medical care to be able to someday go to school to compete with non disabled and then work?
does that make any sense?
we need to look at the whole picture and make many big decisions and changes.
should people knowing have children who are dev disabled delayed and be supplemented since day one and dump them totally on the state rolls for life when they are 18? or should parents responsible for finacial aide for acollege till kids are age 23 also be resonsibel to make develeopmentally delayed children educated and employable?
we have limited resources ... and who gets what is politics and power not big picture or fair.
id love to hear more debate on all of this..

Stay on your represenatives, people on social security need more money, they paid into it, and congresspeople get massive benefits without having to pay in to it. Its an election year, make them answer to you the voter. Call your reps office and if your senators are up for re election call their office and registar your view with their staff, then call the seanator whos not up, and email them all, all have gvt emails and will send you an auto reply, some however will have their staff email you back, unless youre a young man wanting to be a page or talk dirty that is then they'll bend over backwards to help you
