I moved from california to Arizona to live with a girl I was dating. I gave her over 5000 during the period I lived with her to pay for bills and to buy material property for the apartment, HDTV, Couch, entertainement center, bed, etc, I was not on the lease agreement, becuase she set the partment up before I arrived, so I just let it stand until I got a job, but I never put in to be on the lease because we were moving to a new home we were buying. I was excorted out of the apartment by the police, then she took all the belongings out of the apartment the next day, and left what she thought was mine. Should I have recieved a 30 day notice for this apartment? Were court can I bring her too, what do I have to prove in court?

With you not being on the lease, no reciepts, and you guys not having been married, you're pretty much screwed and out every penny. Sorry buddy.

You can try, but you'll have a difficult time proving your case. If you used a check instead of giving her cash, it will increase your chances.
