We are going to a sexy costume party and have decided to go as a sexy cave couple. We would like to buy or make the outfit and are considering a costume that is made of leopards pattern material that drapes down in the front and back and ties on. we would go without shoes and of course have clubs. what do you think? where can we buy, how would you make?

Fabric stores have leopard prints, there are even cave men patterns in some costume books. You could use fake fur too, early people used the skins and fur of animals for winter clothing. Don't go without shoes, could hurt yourself...get some brown or black flip flops and tie some leather laces around your ankles and legs. Club material available at Home Depot. Sounds like fun.

You should have a bra top of the leopard print and short boy shorts with a fringe (leopard print) skirt that just clears the shorts.
Your hair should be extremely matted and teased and maybe have a huge bug or dragonfly in it.
The guy should not wear leopard print. He should get some brown sueded fabric, suggestive of fur or leather, and drape it like you described.

Clubs? I don't think so. You should get a stuffed ape/monkey and put it in a sling and carry it or strap it to your back like a baby.
And, he should carry a spear and have a slingshot and rocks in his pocket.

Wear skimpy, flat brown sandals or thongs...until you get indoors.

walmart should have the material. just hold the material up to your body and see how long you need it. fold it in half so you will have a front and back, then cut a hole on the folded edge for your head and stitch up the sides leaving a space for your arms, then just cut the bottom ragged so you don't have to hem it. for the lady, cut some of the bottom like a slit if you want to show a little leg. you can also make the opening for your head in a v shape to look better and to make the sholders look better, just cut a strip of the material and run it from the neck opening to the armhole, tie in a bow on top to gather the material.

Great idea! You can get the fabric almost anywhere. My son went as a cave man two years ago. I found fake brown fur material at Hancock Fabrics and sewed it into a tub shape then cut away the top to make it tie over one shoulder and cut up the bottom. I used brown eyeshawdow to make him dirty (It doesn't smear like halloween makeup does.) Have fun!!!!!!

Goto a discount store and find any animal print sheets,drapes,etc...
Sew & trim to fit. As for the club dollar store or an old log from someone backyard.

Enjoy :)

Get animal teeth necklaces too!

Just get some fabric and cut out whatever shape you want, such as a pelt shape. Don't worry about sewing, but tie the pieces together or crudely stitch the pieces together.

You shouldn't go barefoot! Get a pair of brown sandles or flip flops ( I know they didn't wear these but still)

Order this for your husband/boyfriend, or you could just print out the picture and take it with you when you buy the fabric and just copy it .
