Which one do you like better....Movies where the world is going to end (deep impact, the core, armageddon) or more of the world has already ended, post-apocalyptic movies (mad max, night of the comet, 28 days later, Dawn of the dead) .......

Post apocalyptic movies. It's interesting to see how people would react and survive in that kinda world through the script writer's perspective. I like watching people hold a death-grip on their humanity, whereas the rest of the world is letting go and doing as they please, no matter how violent. THAT is what defines a true hero, someone who does what's right because its right no matter the situation they find themselves in.

A lil bit of both, but i guess more the ones where the world is going to end. One of my two favorite movies r The Core and Armageddon. They r really interesting, touching and make u wish all the way that it wouldn't end. Just keep u waiting for "triumph" or "defeat". But both r cool!

Movies about what could happen to end the World or most of it's
people. The Stand by Stephen King comes to mind first and they did a good job of breaking it down to be a mini-series but I
would like to see the whole thing together in a Theatre.

i have to say that i love movies where the world is going to die better - it brings action to the movie , conflict , drama , it gives the author a chance to foreshadow
when the world is dead you feel that a part of the movie is missing- it's like the end already came
so what else do you really want from it
it's like if you have a piece of cake you try to eat it and finally
you eat it and it is gone , no more cake - you can try to save the cake , or start a new piece or whatever idea comes in your mind - but that piece of cake is gone -

Movies where the world is about to end. Because the special effects are much better. And because they normally inject some hope into the argument, like shiny days for instance, or bravado, moral-raising speeches by presidents... And maybe because most of the time they intertwine some love story in it...

i kinda like some from each. but i guess movies where the world is going to end because armageddon is one of my favorite movies. i cannot watch it without crying when he has his last convo with his daughter. i bawl hardcore. plus the core was pretty awesome too.
