sure, but there are things about you that you probably wouldn't admit to, which wouldn't make you a friend to everyone, everybody does. I need someone that will comfort me when I need to cry, just listen to me when I need to rant, make me laugh when I had a crappy day, one that will call me once in a while just to see how my day was and how I am doing, one that will support me in everything I do, one that will tell me when I am being stupid when I'm not thinking straight, one that will stand beside me when no one else will, one that will keep their word, and one that wont ditch out on me. Need a friend that will respect and love me.

Im kinda quiet to, but I know in order to meet someone and gain their friendship that Ill have to open up a bit more, talk to them, laugh with them, and have fun. After I get to know someone I open up alot more and I am known as the stable rock that is the good listener...

trust, honesty and understanding, three main characteristic that i believed is a must have in looking for a friend..
trust-i can confide with everything, no matter what the subject is, and hoping it remains just between us, same as relying to your ability that you will stand by me, be there for me when i need a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to my burden and role model to look up to. of course vice versa in whatever it may..
honesty- i expect total honesty, i get furious about liars, i can sense a liar mile ahead, that is the worst thing a friend can do to me. no matter how decade of years we have invest on our friendship we have shared, i can turn my back on you in a flash. i can count my true friends in one hand, cause im different and they all know me. i know im not a saint, but that is my requirement that i cherish...
understanding- since i am who i am, i expect full understanding of why i am like this, its not that im a bad person, not like that. i value my feelings, my way of thinking, my action and i know everyone knows me that i do it cause im different from anyone they know of. it is a positive outlook not a negative one, other follows my idea and thoughts, my attitude towards others and sometimes i over do it..they know im not selfish, too kind for my nature and caring for all mankind.
it is rare for other to be my friend but it is weird cause everyone consider me as theirs..im just that type...

Yeah all people want a friend that is there for them when they need help. Friends also want a person that they can talk to when they wnat to talk and everyone wants there own space. so yeah you would make a good friend.

A friend is someone who is there for you, and doesn't put you down. A friend cares about you. It usually takes knowing someone for several years before they are truly a friend.

Thats a pretty good combination of qualities. I like someone who can just shut up and enjoy silence and someone hwo doesnt talk about them selves all the time!!

well to be a good friend, you definitely have to be there when your friend is down or needs some1 to talk to.
you also want to be nice and kind, and make sure that you never make them feel bad or anything
