I have a 7950gx2 video card, i have now a vx922 19'' monitor, i have 900 bucks and i want a bigger monitor. i play games and go on the internet. i was thinking about this acer monitor i saw that is 24'' widescreen and 6ms response time. what monitor do u think is good that is also big and great for games? Thanks!

I think if you want to experience what that video card is made to do you should get the dell 30" widescreen monitor. It is made for gaming, and is really a great monitor, which is why it will cost a little under $2,000.

what you might need is another 19" monitor that can take DVI inputs such as DELL UltraSharp FP2001 Series. They have both DVI and VGA ports. After going to DVI, you'll never want VGA again.

Radder still is to get a dual header video card and hook up two DVI monitors. Action can spread out across two 19" monitors which can be arrayed vertically and/or horizontally.

Two other GeForce cards with spectacular 3D performance will cost you less than the 7950gx2 you got. See source below.

My advice? Go to Ebay and start trading.

This should work fine for PC and Mac, by the way.

A Samsung SyncMaster 1100DF can do wonders! Best choice you can get at 21"!
