why do we turn our clocks back this month?

im doing this for science class and i wanna know why and i know its daylight savings time and its called spring forward,fall back but why do we actually do it

we do it because it will give us more light in the morning.
for kids going to school in the light instead of going to school
in the dark.

Daylight savings time, it was originally conceived to allow an extra hour of daylight during the summer so that kids coming home from school would have an extra hour to help their family in the farm fields, yep, you bet. Now it just give us an extra hour on the beach.

I think it had to do with farming. Back when we were a farming nation, farmers needed more time for planting and sowing their crops. By moving the time back, you're giving people more daylight with which to pick their crops.

because the season changes and it gets cold for the winter because a majority of the time the sun isn't able to reach these countries.

that is why we get more night time and less daytime.

spring back... fall forward. in the spring we the sun reaches the country more that's why there's more day time. fall forward... spring back.

Bush (like Nixon, oh so earlier!) signed an extension for sunlight hours mark downs Time. am i able to enable you understand what it become want to pass to college at evening (i become in HS interior the early / mid 70's)! We just about have been given run over via drivers who could no longer see us!

becuase if we dont then we would be in school at night time and sleep in day time.........and at ike 8 am its still gonna be dark till like 9 pm
