After getting out of high school I went to a technical school for industrial electricity, for the two years I was there I stayed on the presidents and deans lists.

After graduating I took tests for my local power company and aced all of their tests and went to several interviews and did well at all of them.

They called me one day and told me I was hired and how much I would get paid and whatnot, at the end of the conversation they asked if I was black. I told them no and they told me sorry but they couldn't hire me, I felt it was a waste of time to pursue electricity any more and went into electronics.

I've been discriminated against alot since then and no longer care for the country I live in because of it.

I feel white males need to go to war in order for us to fight for our rights, I'd like to leave my son something to look forward to besides being treated bad for being smart and white.

We have always fought for everyone elses rights now we need to fight for our own.

I have felt like some men think less of me as I am a woman. The most discriminating thing I believe to a woman is that when she stands up for her rights she is considered a Bit..ch but if a man does it he is smart or a good business man.

I think the most discriminated race I found is anyone from India or Pakistan that area. I try not to discriminate against anyone but I think if anyone says the do not they are lying we all do it sometime or another even if it is just something that guy did not go to my school. IT is not about colour of the skin but about anyone that is different than you in anyway.

As a women I have been discriminated against. I heard my boss say that I could never get the position I applied for because as a woman I would be too tempting for the salesmen. I believe he said that because he is a pervert and believes people think like him. My husband is always discriminated against because he young in a high position. People always ask him for his supervisor. There is none! As long as this Earth continues to be run by humans, prejidice of all sorts will exist.

I believe that us Hispanics have been hurt the most because we are able to speak spanish. I have a Colombian friend and we always talk in spanish since I am Puerto Rican. At my school a lot of people talk behind our backs, curse at us, and fight with us because we speak spanish. I don't know why they don't do it to other people who speak other languages only us. Is it because we are colored and speak another language at the same time? I don't know but I wish it would stop. It feels bad to know that someone is against you because of where you come from and your color. My skin is pale but I am still discriminated against. The black people and the white people get along just fine. But we cannot be who we are and we cannot speak our language? I DON'T KNOW WHO THE RACIST PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE BUT I WILL NEVER STOP SPEAKING MY LANGUAGE AND I WILL NOT STOP BEING WHO I AM FOR NOBODY!!!! I agree with lost_soul as well. We should be treated the same as men and ne man should be superior than any woman!!

Homosexuals

I never intentionally discrimated

I'm over 50 so everyone younger discriminated against me!

Know what it's like to apply for a job at 55!

It's like being 14.

Everyone FEARS you

You're 55 and your boss is 29 and She's afraid of you because your OLD and MALE.

My last female 29 year old Boss took me on and I, to this day, fearcesly defend her, because she gave me a job when I needed one. Anything (reasonable) I do.

I love her to death and defend her because she took me on.

She looked beyond the barriers. That's definately NOT shallow thinking!
