That song was so full of emotion. When I first heard it it sent chills trhough me. It was so intense.

I don't think he meant it to be sad and inspiring. It's about a guy who is basically a stalker, although he doesn't actually stalk Slim. He's basically saying that people shouldn't idolize entertainers, and base their whole lives around them.
