The engine has many miles and more wear and tear than most used cars a person would purchase The trans. alone would cost you what you initially pay for the entire vehicle should and when it fails completely! I urge you to consider buying a different car.Good luck!

If the original tools are still in the vehicle, there will be a manual crank you can use to close the sunroof. Those older Benz models used a complex design with the motor and drive unit in the trunk and a long cable that ran up to the sunroof plate to open and close it. The problems could be anything like a broken transport angle ( the sunroof brackets ), to a binding cable, to a seized motor and/or gear ( the motor and gear drive are integrated into one assembly ). While I wouldn't completely rule out the sunroof switch, they are rarely a problem on these vehicles.
