I know its been asked before, but am hoping someones figured it out by now. Does anyone know how to unlock the 6280. cheers

go to http://www.trycktill.com/eng/unlock_swe.asp, enter your details, be aware though i have not used this ste to unlock my fone but they are supposed to have all the nokia unlocking codes. This site should be trustworthy because they were advertised on the Which? site.

You cant unlock Nokia N Series or 62 Series phones yet. The previous answer is correct. The phone contains symbian software and due to it being a 3G 'smartphone' it remains impossible to unlock them unless its through the network operator you are contracted too who will send your IMEI number to Nokia and request a uniqe unlock key based on your serial number. the network charges £20 for this
