on here and not had an answer..i asked a question 3 hours ago and not had ONE answer...is everyone busy today.

I've actually had my question removed before. How's that? (Notice question just asked).
What seems to be the case is that you ask a question, 5 minutes later answers start trickling in. The maximum amount of answers are usually asked within the first couple of hours of your question being posted. Then they die out, but you still might get some slow-poke answers in. After a day if it's a provocative question you may still get a few answers, but for normal questions, not really. By day 2 usually no answers. If you have a very specialized question, leave your question up for awhile to give time for someone to search for your question as it won't be easily available, yet there are people really into certain topics and want to answer.

If you need an answer quickly, and you are UK based, text the question to 8-2-2-7-5 (82ASK) and they'll get back to you within minutes.
Also, by logging on to their website (www.82ask.com), you can see the source for the answer that they provide.
Costs a quid a go, but they have a £3 per week tarrif which lets you ask as many q's as you like.
However, Yahoo! Answers is more fun...

I asked one yesterday and have not had an answer but I guess that is because nobody has done what I asked them. I'm gonna give up asking questions though unless it's something straight forward, keep on getting to many horrid replies and I'm not good at dealing with that!!

On checking your profile, I notice that your questions are either ones that I can't answer, or ones that I just don't want to answer. Maybe you are too intellectual for this site, as most people prefer a little light-hearted humour, or just plain stupidity on here.

Nope. I've only asked a couple of questions but people have answered me. Suprisingly(I'm not complaining) when people answer they actually answer and not give me any smart *** remarks!
