I went last year. I was the only Power Ranger in town who used a walker. When I got home, all I had in my bag was one Tootsie Roll and 83 restraining orders.

O.K., I am just kidding about trick or treating.
I am really 70 years old, but can still beat most of you in a race around the block.

I will be 71 next February.
But feel more like 35. I stayed in the Army Reserve until I was 60. That kept me in pretty good shape.
I have remodeled two houses in the past thirteen years, totally repainted three, (one of them twice) and re-landscaped three of them with a pick and shovel and wheelbarrow.
In addition, I have a sixteen year old daughter.

Now, that's funny! Thank you for posting some humor.
I was wondering, how many bottles of Geritol did you get.
Have a great year and go get 'em Power Ranger.

(Are you sure that was a Tootsie Roll?)

Amusing question. I'd say that you are too old when it stops being fun because either you are not enjoying it as much or the people you are getting candy from react poorly to you. Another indicator is when you are no longer looking forward to it.

My last time out was when I was 16. I went with a group of friends and had a blast.

If you still want to go out but don't want candy, just go for a walk in plain clothes. It is a good way to take in the Halloween vibe without getting restraining orders.

ya..prolly a lil old. Offer to take a family member trick or treating. They kid will usually give you candy. I didnt do it for that reason but one year i took my little cousin trick or treating. she gave me tons cuz she had so much fun :-D Or just buy your own. Or dress up in a costume and give out candy at the door or scare kids when they come to your house. My Mom used to dress up as a witch every halloween and scare the crap out of neighbor kids..it was so much fun.

No not at all, in our neighborhood everyone goes. It's just the adults get a shot of booze instead of candy....or a cigar. Kind of a meet your neighbor night
