One of sport magazine had article about her sometimes ago.
According to an article, Russian woman's tennis players had problem with their national team selection because Sharapova has limited Russian skill.
I am sure some of that was jealousy, but there has to be some true to the story.

yes sharapova can speak fluent russian but according to myskina she speaks russian with an american accent.
