I'm seriously considering going back to school, at the age of 48. Not because I have to; I have made quite a success out of life despite starting out broadly uneducated, and getting in to things I never should have been in to.
In a material sense, I doubt many people could realistically ask for much more than I have.
But I sometimes read questions posed by kids here - there was one the other day about some kind of equation with letters and numbers - and I was just dumbfounded. No end of people threw out answers, but I have to admit I just didn't have a clue.
Pathetic, really.
So think on this m'darling - a fella who has more money than most other people will ever earn, and all the luxuries in life envies what you have.
You tell me who is the richest of us; you can one day be what I have become, if that is what you want, but I can never again be what you are now.
And then go on to school knowing you have it all within your reach :o)

You hate it while you're there, don't think about it for a while, and then you realize that the years were indeed the best because as an adult you don't have as much time for parties and music and freedom as much as you did then. It's all relative though, but high school really are some of the best years. I'd never go back to change anything, because those experiences shaped who I am today, but they were definitely good ones :)

Im in 2nd yr of college.
School life was good, its different, its more fun, u see ur friends every day and have fun and laugh out, of course there s the fights, those u learn from. i would and wouldnt go bk to school. i would go just to see my friends again in one place, and not having to care so much abt projects and deadlines. i wouldnt go bk bcz i woudlnt want to go bk to all the exams and studies and at least now im two years away from gettin a job.

Nah, school wasn't that great and I wouldn't go back. In fact, I'm going to homeschool my children because the public education system is failing in giving our kids the best education possible. It's too generic and filled with too many holes and problems.

trust me, your school days are the best years of your life, find a way to enjoy it, once you graduate and move from home, you are then responsible for things you dont even realize exist...........bills, babies, husbands, home, work, cars, lives..etc...........
