Boy, do I miss that strip! I mean, a comic strip which features an imaginative, yet bratty kid and his toy tiger, who has a dim view of humanity, has got to be one of the most insightful ever. Bill Waterson (the creator) often put a lot of himself, as well as insights on his own personal experinces, into that strip.

Best comic strip ever!! I'm rereading the whole collection right now. I was so sad when Watterson stopped creating the strip...I kept the last Sunday strip he ever did. It's a shame there's a whole generation out there that doesn't know Calvin and Hobbes.

I remember reading some of the funniest adventures that boy had.
I kinda hated the fact that he was against the opposite gender, but that's 6 year olds for you.
They should do a comeback on them.

Yes! especially the ones where Calvin is reading comic books. ' "Eat flaming doom, evil amazon!" She fired her mega blaster. I felt my spine shatter. It hurt. A lot. '
