We have just tried to turn on our electric baseboard heat for the season and only 1 room is coming on. We have a thermostat in every room and I can hear them click on when I turn them but there is no heat. We have checked the breaker box and there is juice. Can someone please HELP!!!!! Everything worked at the end of last season.

In my former home there was a minor wiring error which prevented my living room heater from coming on regardless of its thermostat setting. I noticed one day that it was on and found the problem with the entry way thermostat. Unless the entry way thermostat was switched on the living room heater would not work. I had to change a couple of wires in the thermostat box to solve the problem. Could you have a similar type problem?

Whatever you decide to do, BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!! Every baseboard heater I've ever worked on was on a 220 Volt circuit. Each one should be on a circuit of it's own. If the breakers are marked, then you can turn each one off in turn, and check the wiring behind the thermostat. If it's all intact, and you're not real good with electricity, you should call a repairman. It's less expensive than a call to the ambulance because you got knocked out by the voltage.

If you checked power to the units leave them on for awhile, i remember mine sometimes took awhile to heat the first time for the season, if not then must be in the stat but you wouldn't think that all would have the problem, take the cover off and check with a electrical meter, or call a repairman, good luck

every room has a tsat...check all breakers most likely not all heaters are on the same breaker. not much else to check since many other heaters having the same problem, I am guessing if its not that then maybe a wire came loose in a junction box somewhere where they all connect

that is extremely possibly that the setting up contractor had a roll of 6-conductor T-Stat cord on his truck and used that extremely than looking down a 4-conductor roll. So, if the warmers are working and the thermostat is functioning properly, pass away it on my own. challenge-free version to the respond: possibly the unique installer extra ability for a warmth-pump or different refinments interior the destiny. lower back if it quite works perfect, pass away or no longer that is. yet be appreciative that the installer become thinking of the destiny. One hopes that something of your place is the two properly concept out.
