My friend had a bowling party a couple years ago and it was really fun. The bowling alley gave her a pin and we all wrote things for her on it. It was really cute.

The swimming party.
Sounds like a lot of fun and you guys are probably okay just now about your bodies. In a few years you will be too paranoid to do anything like that, so do it while you can.
Shopping and amusement parks cost too much money.
Bowling could end up costing a lot too, and they can all be done any day really.
If everyone you're planning to invite loves theme parks then i'd choose that, but think before you go because a lot of people don't like going on the big rides or whatever and that could spoil the fun or cause arguments and bad feelings.
I can't think of anything else, but have fun !

don't do the swimming party.
if it's going to be just girls. have a sleepover! those are so much fun. rent movies, get popcorn, ice cream etc. that way you guys can be all warm and cozy telling jokes and playing truth or dare ..
if it's a guy/girl party. then i think you should act on your bowling idea. bowling is a good way for everyone to get involved and at the same time leave room for small talk. maybe have some pizza or something like that to munch on.
or you could have a game party, like have everyone bring their favorite games and just play and dance and fool around all night.
have fun! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Do you want to have fun and a really good time? 13 years old! Ask your mom and dad, what they can do to help you have a fantastic party. You know I am positive they would do anything they can to make sure your birthday is so very special, with your ideas and their ingenuity your party is going to be very memorable. Take lots of pictures! Teenager!

I was born in December and for my 13th we got two ladies to come in from a salon and one lady did our hair and the other did our makeup (we chose between dramatic or natural). my mom also bought some inexpensive champagne flutes for sparkling cider and got some little makeup kits at Wallgreens for my guests to take home. the salon ppl brought their own equipment but it would be nice if you lent them some. for food, we just got a 3-ft. part sub from Subway. My cake was really cool! we got it from a place called Artrageous Desserts...it was a really cool purse with vanilla cake and rasberry filling!!! well...goog luck with your party.

I'm thirteen, and for my party, I got a bunch of friends together and some really fancy dresses from my sister (hehe she's at college and left them here) and we dressed up, gave each other makeovers, and did a photo shoot. it was cool, tons of fun, and we all enjoyed it. you don't need fancy dresses tho, just lots of clothes.
