When I get stupid answers on here from people that are just trying to get points can I report that as abuse or at least delete the answer to take away the points?

just ignore stupid answers. i actually like reading stupid answers sometimes cause they're funny...why do you care about taking their points away? they're yahoo answers points...they don't really matter.. who cares?

I agree about the stupid answers but not about individuals having the power to delete them. That would turn a lot of people here into school prefects, just like those idiots who like to supervise chat rooms being a keyboard hero and leaping to the rescue of damsels in distress, basically being a superhero from the safe distance of the other side of the world and protected by anonyminity.

You just have to choose a best answer from those available within the time limit... If you think there isn't any best answer that may solve your question, just don't choose any of them and your points will be returned.

If you want to go further you can report someone for Point-Gaming...

Hi...

I think there's something about not choosing a best answer, but I think that removes the points from everyone, whether you liked their answers or not.

So I don't think you can isolate a respondent for penalty.
