Several seasons ago Principal Skinner was about to go break up a fight, before he did, he said "Well, better piss on this fire." I was disgusted by that. It seems like the best writers have left and they are letting the show get cruder and lost touch.

The earlier episodes were more wholesome. But things have changed. I remember when I was little and if somewhere were to even say "damn", it was all giggles. But now they've pushed it so far, that seems ridiculous. It depends how you take it. If you like the wholesomeness, then it seems worse. However, I could care less about that, and think they are about as funny as they've always been, but the storylines could be better.

My 6 year old son loves the simpsons so does his dad and stepdad, we don't have sky one at home but we bought my son 2 seasons of the simpsons and he watches them on channel 4 and watches them at his nan's house or his dads when he goes round. They are always pushing the way we all think knocking down the boundaries but swearing can be a bit much where kids see them as funny and brilliant. But no writer stays with the shows they write for from one season to the next.

I think The Simpsons have lost their touch. Their newer season episodes aren't that funny and just seem a little stupid. But I still watch the show!

The newer episodes are definitely weaker than older episodes; however, I would much rather watch a weaker Simpsons episode than most of what else is on TV today.

till Obama ran for president, I had no theory there have been various hopeless human beings in this u . s .. I in no way felt he replaced into addressing the final public of the rustic. i won't be in a position to assert I ever felt hopeless right here even whilst dealing with complicated circumstances. i think of human beings sense much less wish now, 18 months after Obama grew to alter into president, than i'm able to ever undergo in strategies. I in no way felt like he replaced into chatting with me.
