For indoor plants I use Schultz liquid which is a 10-15-10. It also has micronutrients.....each time you water, you use 7 drops per quart of water or if the plant only needs to be watered once or twice a month , double the amount of fertilizer.
The other one I use for outdoors and indoors is Hi-Yield, a general purpose for everything outside and inside...it is in granules and a 11/2 lbs is 4.95...great 20-20-20..you dilute 1 tsp. of granules to 1 one gallon of water...can be used in sprayer, too.

Visit your local home and garden center. They will have a fertilizer that is formulated for your philodendron(and several other plants) that meets the need for its nutrients and will help maintain the correct soil ph.
