I am NOT referring to role playing games or card games not those. I mean games that involve real life events.
The best games i have ever played on PC or Playstation will be:
1. Tekken 3 (even tekken 4,tekken5 and tekken tag are no match for tekken 3)
2. Grand Turismo 3 (Grand tuismo 4 could not beat it.)
3. Grand Theft auto 3 (The best game i really enjoyed, even grand theft auto Vice city and san andreas could not match)
4. Battlefield 2 (definitely better than the 2142 version that came after it)
I think these are games that their developers have spent a lot of time thinking and developing them perfectly well.
So i will give each of them a 10 point!. For me they are all the best PC games ever created.

God of War is far from the best game.
Platformer: Jak 2-3, Sly Cooper, Shooter: R: Type Final.
Action: Shinobi, Contra: Shattered Soldier.
RPG: Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.
Adventure: Beyond Good and Evil.
Fighter: Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution.
Racer: Flatout 2.
Puzzle: Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.

I don't play many PC games, so these are all PS2 games:
1. God of War, by far the best game ever!
2. Final Fantasy X
3. Dark Cloud 2
4. Final Fantasy X-2
5. ATV Offroad Fury 2 or 3 (I can't decide!)

the best pc games ive ever played are granado espada, warcraft frozen throne and diablo 2 lod. it depends on the games you like to play. basically, if you spend a lot money on upgrading your pc and internet connection then stick to pc. and if you have spare time, try to check out the games in the consoles. then you decide. try the games series: final fantasy, tekken, kingdom hearts, metal gear.
