My family and I were in Tennessee and I went there for some dinnr. I asked for my food gave the girl at the register my money and then she went and grabbed onion rings with her hands, no gloves, and remember she just handled my money. The guy behind the counter cooking the burgers had no gloves on either. He even scratched his head and get this!!! He put his hand down the back of his PANTS!!! I let them procede with my order and when she came to the counter to give me my food I said no thank you I want my money back and a number to reach a manager. She was in shock. And I explained to her what was wrong and she turned all red and gave me my money and I walked out. How disgusting!!!!!

We used to have 4 hardees in my area (kankakee illinois) 3 were were closed down due to health code violations (rat dropping and the fact the places where just nasty ) We have 1 left and I wont step foot in it since that last time my family went there we all got violently ill. You did the right thing by demanding your money back and reporting them. You should have called the health department on them and reported it. scratching any part of your body is a health violation. you might not get anything from it but it might get them closed down till new people are hired and trained and the place is cleaned up . I believe they are supposed to wear plastic gloves or use tongs when handleing food..
Sorry for your bad experiance. I know ill never eat at one again

I used to run a Hardee's and between people who demand fast food ( which by the way, Hardee's is now a "casual dining" place by our new standards ) and the total lack of respect between staff, a 10 hour shift was hell. So all you folks that whine and snivel during your 30 minutes of lunchtime during your 8 hour desk job forget that we work hard and get paid less to put up with you the customer when you have to wait a few minutes more for hot fresh food. Don't you cook at home? Granted that employees should have been more aware of what their hands are touching before they touch your food, but employees are human too. WE all make mistakes god forbid!

Welcome to the Fast Food in this country. They have a work force who don't care about themselves or the products they are selling. I have had a nightmare experience at the local McDonalds. I had to call the police to get my money back because they absolutely ignored me after twenty minutes of waiting. Many excuses from the Manager and nothing else. We all need to take a little extra time and patronize the mom and pop places out there. Every town has one, the place were you get an great meal for very little money. Ours is "Willie Mae's " An old fashioned cheeseburger cooked to order. Yeah, you have to wait ten minutes. But, those ten minutes are spent catching up on the local football team, "how is your family doing" and the nujt who is running for mayor. We are losing the most priceless part of our community with every value meal sold. We are losing our connections with the real working people in our lives.

I once had a piece of plastic about the size of a cell phone stuck between my lettuce and patty not only that my six dollar burger looked like it was just thrown together with no quality control by the way west of the Rockies Hardees are named Car'ls Jr And your thickburgers are our six dollar burgers this all took place in Walnut,CA off Fairway Dr. On hwy's 60&57 split of course I had a **** fit and all they offered me was an apology and a new burger I was satisfied and continue to eat their.

Besides waiting for over 20 minutes for our food in the drive through, with only ONE car ahead of us and there was no way to get out of it with the building on one side and a 2 foot high curb on the other? YES! They were so rude about it. I wrote their corporate headquarters through the web site and did not hear one thing back. Haven't been back since.
FYI: They are Hardees in one part of the country and Carl Jr's in the other.

yes, we never visit the Hardees where we live in WV because it is filthy dirty, the employees look greasy dirty too and like they just like they got of prison. I do know to that the manager of this store is very rude to customers and if there is a disagreement he will threaten and promote a fight with anyone on the premises.

Even if handled properly Hardees is gross and should be avoided. That does sound pretty horrific though.

The NYC subways? no horror memories. used to have little merchandising machines authentic on the platform. merchandising machines welded to I-beam. bought little hersheys and krackle sweet bars. been in there see you later they fossilized. by no skill did like that walk from cases sq. Station(?) to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. It develop into all underground. one lengthy tunnel. that would properly be creepy. incredibly take the exterior streets. cases sq. develop into VERY SEEDY back then. that about time nighttime COWBOY develop into filmed in NYC. outstanding and grimey. I listen all of it Disneyfied now.
