um.. i'm not sure about that but it's definitely a carrier-specific service..
like if u are using hutch you'll be asked to subscribe to the service and then whenever u get a mail alert you are deducted 1Rs from your prepaid account or billed the same in your postpaid bill

it will reduced from ur account if u r using prepaid, den it will be reduced from ur main account i mean balance and if u r using postpaid den it will be added on bill.
