1. 5x^2 - 3x = 4 may have only 2 values of x
let's assume you mean y = 5x^2 - 3x - 4 @ x = -5
y - y(-5) = m(x + 5)
m@-5 = 2*5(-5) - 3 = -50 -3 = -53
y - (5(-5^2) - 3(-5) - 4) = -53x + (-53)(5)

Nah, spending hours showing how to work through all these just isn't worth 2 points.

Try:
1. submitting them one at a time,
2. doing them yourself, or
3.dropping the course

A lot of work to do all of this, but here is a hint: all you have to do is figure out the slope of the function at the desired point by differentiating; next use the point slope formula to determine the equation of a line with the appropriate slope passing through the point.
