Most of the kits are made for children or teens but you will be able to get a good idea of what this person might be interested in trying,then you can buy an instruction booklet and some supplies. If this person already has an interest then a gift card to a craft store would be Sooooo welcome.

All depends what interests her, try Calligraphy, improves your writing, quite inexpensive on the whole.
