Bad chemistry, as you say...they have the talent. But they either
a) have bad chemistry in the dressing room (rumour around the league)
b) have a coach who can't get the most out of the players (although he has several SC rings as a player and an assistant coach)
Jeremy Jacobs has owned this club for 20 years and they have done well (2 SC final appearances). Harry Sinden knows hockey and compiled the team that they have on the ice now. Until the players mesh and the chemistry is there, it will be tough sledding for this team.

they taught they had a team when they signed Chara, well you no what he ain't that good with the new rules, he is sloppy in his own end cause he can't use his power to hold you or pin you in the corner like before. and they have no goalie, they got rid of Raycroft because he had a bad year, if you really look at the past times allot of hockey players had a great rookie year and fell apart their sophomore year, but they always bounce back their 3rd year. but you know what; the Bruins management did really bad moves the past 2 years.
Irene S>>>>>>>> that was in the early 70's and his last Stanley cup finals was in the late 80's so his resume is terrible as of late he should be caned just like Bobby Clarke they live to much in the past glory.
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a response to the poster (jdlamanna77) who said that with Harry Sinden involved they will be bad.
Under Harry Sinden they won 2 Stanley Cups
They played in 6 Stanley Cup finals (only Montreal has played in more during the last 40 years!)
24 appearances in the leagues top 5 (most recently 2004)
5 times best record in the league
There's a reason he was promoted this past summer!

The Bruins started going downhill when they let Gerry Cheevers jump to the WHA and Bobby Orr signed with the Black Hawks!

It happens to a lot of teams in the beginning of the season. They get off to a slow start and then start to pick up the pace. The off season could make the players a little lazy when it's time to gear up. Colorado, Maple Leafs, Senators, are just a few other teams that are struggling to.
