I see a lot of people wanting to "get over death" on this site.
I want to tell you that you don't need to "get over it." It's normal to be sad and grieving when you lose two friends in a year. You will think about them frequently, remember they aren't there and be sad all over again.
You will go through the stages of grief, til you come to acceptance, and then you will feel a bit less sad--you will eventually be able to think of these friends and stay happy--remembering a happy time rather than your loss.
But all of this will take time.
If you are so upset that you are unable to function, that is a different story and you should see a therapist who can walk you through the stages of grief so that you don't get stuck in one spot.
I'm so sorry for you losses and wish you the best!

I am really saddened for you, I'm sorry. The only thing that will help you is to remember the great times you had with them. Know that being a friend to you has made you a better person, and they definitely had an impact on your life. It will take alot of time to heal, but you will. Eventually, you will feel better, and be able to talk about them freely. You will always hold them in your heart, but that's a good thing.

There is nothing that will help you get over their death, however from experience time does help heal all things. Try to focus on the good times that you and your friends shared, those precious and everlasting memories. Spend time each day meditating on the friendship you treasure.

You probably won't ever really get over it. In time you will learn to deal with it. Right now cry it out if you need to. Everyone is different dealing with death, so don't let anyone tell you what you should be feeling, or that its time to get over it.

Talk to a therapist. Someone that you can and vent to for however long the session is then leave and not feel guilty. Let yourself go through the grieving process, for some it takes longer.
This helped me when my dad died over the summer unexpectedly.

Yes. I keep reminding myself life still need to go. I talk over with my good friends. Send my thought of prayers to them during my prayers. Physical exercise to keep myself physically fit at least.

I do a good deed a day without telling anyone or expecting any rewards.

you dont get over it, you learn to live with it and that takes time. time heals the pain in your heart but the scar remains. try to think about the good times, be thankful for the time you had with them. death helps me to appreciate those close to me who are alive. one day we will all go.

there is never a way to get over someones death. ever! but you do need to move on with your life, your friends would not want you sitting around mourning them forever. its time to celebrate theirs lives not mourn their deaths. you have done that already.
