how can i get rid of windows midea player for xp?

here how you do it.
open control panel, chose [Add or Remove Programs] then at the left column chose [Add/Remove windows Components] one of the components are [Windows Media Player] just unmark it, that will do it, chose ok.

- go to add/remove program from control panel
- click add/remove windows components

Go to your control panel... click on ...add and remove programs and look foe the program you want to remove... click remove
