I like going to a MAC counter or to an Lancome makeup counter. They did my makeup for a special occasion, and everyone said I looked great.

It's hit or miss in my opinion. I went the Prescriptives counter and thought I'd get a natural look. I came out looking like a street-walker. The one I've seen doing the best job when walking through is the MAC counter.

I like MAC or Clinique... but if you have a place which has bare minerals they are really good too, just hard to find. the make up is very natural

You're better off doing it yourself. Go to Cover Girl's website because they have virtual models you can set up to look like your hair, skin, etc. Usually when you go to these makeup counters, they make you look like a drag queen and then overcharge you.
