joined limewire signed up but dont know how to down load music can u down load albums or tracks from them i select the song and press download nothing happens. do u need to set anything up. i am confused.

I would steer well clear of limewire its too full of viruses and adware. Often what you get is nothing like what you asked for - be careful and scan EVERYTHING you download. I had to buy a new PC after using Limewire.

Limewire is a free peer to peer file sharing tool.
You don't need to join as far as I know. I just start the software, select audio files, put in a search term (band name, album name, track name or whatever) and after a brief wait a list of files is displayed. Most of them will not be what you want. Find the most likely one (the one with the most peers to copy from will be quickest) and double click to start the download.
I only download tracks from records i own that I can't get onto the PC. Stuff I already have permission to have. Anything else is illegal and people are being taken to court for excessive use of peer to peer file sharing.
Oh, and if you don't switch it off you will be sharing evrything in your download folder with all other users. It can put a real load on your broadband.

once you have limewire downloaded you open it up and on the far left side on the top it will give you choices choose audio then about in the middle it will give search fields... title artist album genre... select whatever one you know either title or artist and click search/find on the right it will start a list of your results find the song and title and double click it and it will start your download. if you need help visit the page ive listed below

Best advice I can give with Limewire is "Run away!"
Delete it, turn off your machine and move to a different country.
My computer got so many viruses from there that I nearly caught a cold myself.

technicaly you just typ in what your looking for then double click on it to download, If that dose not work check what connection you have. (bottom left corner)not connected go to file(top left) connect.
Still not working go to tools and make sure you have the right setings set up.,Like some on has already said make sure you have some good protection on your pc if your using limewire, its riddled with addawear and viruse's

its easy press download although if there arent people online or dont have the song on their computer then you cant download it.The more hosts that is the number of people there are the faster it will download. If it doesnt work shut it down and try again.

just click on the song you have to go in to lime wire to down load more than 3 songsif u cant do it e mail me and ile go throue it with you ok

Yeah you just type whatever you want, then a long list should appear. Double click on one of them and it should start downloading.
If you have trouble you could try another program like morpheus or bearshare.

make sure your connect to lime wire sometimes you have to manually connect to lime wire
put in search of the song you want and it downloads right there you don't have to go to downloads
