I had asked a question about my friend on here beore. She will never come out of her house b/c she fears she is too ugly. So I called her a few nights ago to ask her if she wanted to sleep over and she said no because she is too fat and ugly. She has no life outside of her house. Once I called her and she said she couldn't talk to me b/c she was trying to figure out what to eat for dinner. wtf? right? So I have tried to help her and she just drags me down. How do I tell her that I am done with her? ( oh I'm her only friend). Is this a bad decision? All the time she complains that nobody will call her or hang out with her, yet she does this crap.

I'm tempted to ask why she's your friend!
We're all responsible for our own happiness. She needs to understand 'laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone'. Nobody will notice her looks if she has a bright personality - that's up to her. Don't let her drag you down.

Friends can be rather trying sometimes, but it seems like she's going through a hard time and really needs your friendship and support. If she's worried about dinner, take her to dinner someplace, many restaurants accomodate people on a diet (at least in big cities). If you leave her, that will just reinforce her impression of herself.
