I think it was a mistake, I was just surprised at the lack of remorse he had for taking Jr. and Johnson out.

Vickers has been the whipping boy at Hendricks all year.He was in competition earlier this year and did not move over for Gordon and Gordan publicly said Vickers was no team mate,Vickers was ahead of Gordon and was not moving over so Gordon got mad,Vickers had been in positions where he has pushed Gordon and Johnson to the front so they would be in position to win and he was hung out. When he needed a push from Jonson or Gordon they would hang him out,but Junior has hooked up with him with a good race and finish.
The problem was not on the track but in the stands and at home(or in the bars). The blind fans that think there are only 3 or 4 drivers(Gordon,Junior,Johnson, and Stewart) These are not the fans, they are embarrassments to the sport, their families, and in some cases the human race.Throwing cans, bottles and who knows what else on the track. They should learn that there are43 cars and any of them are able to win,the fans that think that there are only certain drivers to win all the races are not fans.
It was great that Vickers got a win.Sorry that 2 chase drivers were involved. Now as real race fans lets watch the chase lets root for our favorites and get on with it.

In the beginning I was absolutely furious and part of me still is. If Vickers hadn't made that move then Junior would have gotten his second win of the year and his 6th win at Dega, he also would have left with the points lead.
I understand that Vickers wanted to win so badly but that still doesn't make it right for him to make that big of a mistake and take out not only the race leader but also his own teammate.
But Junior has moved on from it and I think it's time that we do as well. While we all wish that we could change the past we can't.

I agree with the above answers. If that had been Tony or, God forbid Dale Jr. you can bet there would have been serious consequences like say, they would have been docked 25 points. But my opinion is that since Vickers is in the Hendrick camp and associated with Jeff a little favoratism was involved.

Vickers is a snot nosed brat who thinks he can race and knows all about it. What I find odd is that NASCAR warned JR about bump drafting but didn't say one danged word to Vickers about it. His attitude in the winners circle told me all I care to know about him. NOT one "sorry" to Jimmie Johnson or JR. While I do applaud JR for his very mature way of handling the situation, Jimmie is not as forgiving and he shouldn't be. I am a JR fan and always will be but he had that race won and Vickers was trying to push Jimmie ahead of JR, that I do understand but he (vickers) should have been penalized and not have won the race.

He made one bad choice. I know he wanted to win, but you don't go about doing it in the way he did. I also think he did it on purpose. But why he didn't get in trouble with NASCAR is strange. Something should have been said, and punishment handed out. But that's just my opinion. Seriously didn't he even think about his teammate ahead of him. Maybe next time Vickers will know better.
I was cheering for Jr. to win, and he had it won.

Brian Vicker's did not do anything that any other driver has done. It has happened to all of the driver's at one point or another. It was only a big deal because Junior was involved.
Junior has done his share of "trading paint".
I get tired of the double standard. When it happens to your driver it is wrong and when your driver does it it is ok.

Jr. said he was trying to block. Jr. knows it was just racing because he did the exact same thing to Carl Edwards in August during the Busch race. That's why he didn't get upset.
Why do all the Jr. fans keep trying to make something out of nothing? Jr. doesn't need your help.
NOT A JR. FAN Go JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hes a young driver that wants to win just like they all do. he did not do it on purpose. its one of those (just racing deals).
its his first win, he needs the money and that win on his record so that he can get a job somewhere else. one day he may have a family he needs to care for. jr wasnt mad..he knows he should have won. hopefully jr will get many more chances to win a race. vickers might not get to.
