I have been living in Florida way too long. Even though the weather in the winter months is great, I find that this place has very little else to offer me. I want to relocate but really am kind of scared to do it, not knowing a soul if I go somewhere new. Where would you suggest are some of the best cities to go to check out and ultimately move to and live as far as cost of living, finding affordable but nice housing (rental), work opportunities, single and social and dating life, culture, beauty and some nice, good places to go and hang out to meet friendly people? I am currently researching any and all of the best possibilites because I seriously want to get out of here. Thanks!

St.Louis !!!
Quite reasonable-cheap city, not far to Chicago, eastern coast etc..
Really nice big house you get in stl for about 500 000 usd, which is the price of a wooden cottage somewhere in Annapolis (Maryland) or in Massachusetts, in general.
Cold winters, hot summers though. Great bars, clubs, family life,etc..
