wow, i guess you've never been to Italy in your life! Many Italians are dark skinned, dark haired, and dark eyed. This look can be confused with Mexican, expecially if you live in a area with more mexicans then italians. Since he is Italian he is not suppose to be white, hes suppose to be italian. Also, most italian guys i know are pretty hairy. If you don't like that look then find a nice white guy. maybe a german guy will be to your liking

You should be ashamed of yourself! If you are embarrassed about his complexion you should not be with him. I wonder what he would think if he knew how you really felt!? Are you worried about what your children might look like!? Are you just embarrassed that other white people think you are dating a Mexican (as you say)!? Or are you embarrassed because you find that brown-skinned, hairy man so attractive!? Since you are so embarrassed why don't you just keep your 'relationship' behind closed doors so you don't have to be so ashamed?!
Realistically, If you are going to have an interracial/intercultural relationship you better open up your mind and let go of those stereotypes! Get rid of your ignorance and educate yourself!
Addtl note: I read your other posts about this boyfriend and it's ridiculous. He is just using you and taking advantage of your naivete... I'm speaking from experience with older men. You need to find a dark-skinned, hairy Italian guy that is your own age that you can feel insecure about!

I am a very fair skin person and my mom has been mistaken as black, she is part American Indian. I have cousins on my dads side that are Italian and they all have dark hair and dark skin. I think if you were to go to Italy you would find that most have dark skin and dark hair. My daughter in-law is Mexican and that makes my grandson part Mexican and part white. What does it matter what they look like. You are to love the person not the color. Why does it matter what other people think? Are you a little judgemental yourself?

some italian ppl have a shade darker than white north american ppl....this can be because his family of origin lived on the mediterranean where there is plenty sun. and italian ppl, the women as well, do have alot of hair on their arms and so on....italy is an ethnic country as is every other country with a distinct culture, and so they are distinct in features as everyone else. it's incorrect to lump all ppl that look white to be of one culture because some may be polish or danish or swedish, which all have similar white skin, but are of a different culture.....why are you caught up with what he's 'supposed' to be like instead of accepting his person for who is?

okay let me explain this for you my fiance is sicilian and italian and he does not consider himself white! why you might ask? is because their not many intalians are offended by ppl associating them with the whie race take it from me my man gets so upset, second of all their mediterranean ppl which comes from different nations like turkey, persian and so on. ppl classify italians as whites because they belief their part of the caucasian race, but their far from it my man puts "other" on applications cuz he refuse to put white, but it's funny u mention this because everyone assumes my fiance is arabic or spanish, but never italian or white he has curly hair and tan skin too. his uncle looks very mexican with a big nose lol! Iam mixed and black, I go by black, but many ppl think Iam another race cuz I don't look black they actually thought we were brother and sister how funny is that? anyway do some research italy was conquered by the moors which were black so from there on they ancestors came and now this generation. But what does it matter he don't look white who cares? I don't look black and I could care less what's important is knowing where you came from not how you look.

Because not all Southern Europeans look White. Some look Middle Eastern. Others look "Hispanic/Latino". Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece have genetic ties to the Middle East as well as Europe. The ties to the Middle East tend to explain the darker looks.

White Italians are of mixed blood. Italians originally were brown before interracial dating/marriages. Hence "tall, dark, and handsome". ;)
Just out of curiousity, are you ashamed of him? If so, then what are you doing with him? Only in the movies are they white. Media can be so racist. D'oh! Don't believe everything you see on telly.

The sexy girl... with you having so much problems with your boyfriend's skin color... just go out a get a white boy... if you can. Sounds like that's what you want.
Your questions center around your boyfriend and his skin color. Love it or leave it.
