Yes u can but its biggest limitation is the screen size and the memory of the phone itself so sadly best to buy a dedicated sat nav unit which is 100% dedicated to that purpose. Your phone has to do so many other things it just cant handle the data.

Such limited availability of data it's really not worth the hassle, it would be false economy. Better off shopping around for good deal on the real thing,or better still if you can wait 'til after Christmas, you will get a quality one for a sale price!

depends on the phone you have, i use a NOkia 6680 with tom tom mobile and i have no problem. you will need to buy a separate GPS receiver though
