I waz cheering for ITALIA to win the World Cup since the beginning and I always will be cheering 4 them, but I don't think they'll win the WC 2010... Maybe 2-3 more World Cup games from now they'll win again.

The answer is probably not. The reason is the last time a
nation successfully defended the World Cup was Brazil,
and that was in 1966. Italy is the only other nation that has
won defended their title, but that was in 1938. There are so
many good football nations, it will be very difficult for Italy to
retain the trophy that it won this season for the first time since
1982. Italy should be among the contenders, which will include
Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, England, Holland, and maybe an African nation like Nigeria, Cameroon, or someone
like that. Since the 2010 World Cup is in South Africa, perhaps
an African nation can make a breakthrough. I think Italy can perform well at the 2010 World Cup, but the odds are they won't
repeat as champions.

Extreme remote. Italy have never won outside Europe. Furthermore with the dry and hot South African weather, it will take a very commanding performance for them or any European side, to win it.
Major African teams like Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, South Africa etc, have all been blooding younger players recently. In 4 years time, it is likely that many of them would hit their peak. Playing in their own continent for the first time, it is likely they will provide us with Africa's strongest ever challenge.
Besides them, it is a given that Brazil and Argentina would field stronger squads than in Germany. In Argentina's case (they had a strong squad), the problem was tactical, insufficient consistency and the inability to have a fixed permanent 11. Given time, this team will gel and get going.
Italy's current crop is their best in 6 years and come 2010, some will be past their prime. The rejuvenation exercise will have to restart and take around 2 World Cups to bloom.

Probably not,
Playing in South Africa will be a tall order for any of the European sides, and the whole set up will be suited to Brazil or Argentina winning again, or even an African nation, if they can get their heads round it.
