We've met several musicians over the years. My strangest encounter was Richard Simmons. We were in Orlando FL for a convention (he was one of the participants at th convention), he stayed in the same hotel and he tried to "sneak" in late in the evening. I say tried.. he didn't try very hard. He came in crouching behind the luggage cart, but he was wearing the trademark tank top and satin shorts. We watched him check in and the lobby swarmed with women gushing over him. At one point as he tried to maneuver out of the lobby and I turned around and found myself face to face with him. He said hi so I said hello back to him. The older women were just freaking out over him. Yelling and acting like they wanted to faint. He is a strange little man.

Loads of times. All musicians, I always wait outside after gigs, they usually come out to chat, it's nice.
